Wes Nisker grew up in Virginia and Philadelphia, but today resides in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA. He is the creator of "Scoop's Book Reviews." After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps (he later served two tours in Iraq) and was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal. He graduated with honors from The University of Tennessee with a degree in Psychology. He currently works as a mental health intern for a local hospital
