Richard E. Gropp, Ph.D., is the author of over thirty-five books on various topics including psychology, small business, motivation, and sports psychology. His books have been translated into seven languages and have sold more than a million copies worldwide. He has a Ph.D
in clinical psychology from the University of Houston. Dr. Gropp has been a member of the American Psychological Association since 1989 and previously served as chair of the APA's Division 12 on Sports Psychology.
He is the recipient of numerous awards including APA's Distinguished Contributions Award for four consecutive years from 2000-2004 as well as the International Coach Federation's International Coach of the Year Award in 2000.
