After graduating in 1897, he opened a health clinic in Montreal that specialized in physiological therapeutics. Between 1900 and 1914, he traveled extensively across North America teaching this new system. His reputation as a healer spread quickly, with people traveling from all over the United States to seek treatment from him.

In 1914 he left North America for Europe, where he lectured widely throughout England, Scotland, France, Belgium, Germany, Italy and Switzerland. He married Edith Manzelewski in 1915 and they had two daughters before their marriage ended in 1938.
