Isabella Blow (born Isabella Secker, 1966) is an English fashion designer and writer. She is the daughter of the journalist and novelist Penelope Fitzgerald and the poet and critic Sir Peter Secker. Her paternal grandfather was the administrator of the Churchill estate. She is also a descendant of Sir Thomas Fowell Buxton, founder of British conservationism
She attended Bedales School in Hampshire and studied at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, graduating with a degree in fashion design in 1988. In 2002 she was chosen to design a range of clothes for Princess Diana's last public appearance.
Normally, all I'm interested in is what the person has created. Hopefully they're not a mass murderer or mass rapist, but their personality is not important to me at that stage. They've got to be pretty extraordinary to make things like that anyway.Isabella Blow
