Chris Ware is a cartoonist for 'The New Yorker', 'The Washington Post' and other publications. He was a cartoonist at The Village Voice from 1977 to 1990, before leaving to design a comic book series for the publisher Drawn and Quarterly. He also teaches at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Chris has been the recipient of numerous awards, including an Emmy Award for his animated short, The Acme Novelty Library.
