Archie Lee was a writer for the "Atlanta Journal", an editor at the "Atlanta Journal" News, and a columnist for the "Atlanta Constitution". He also wrote a humor column called "How to Live," and a series of detective novels featuring Lieutenant Joe Morehead. In addition to his books, Lee wrote articles for other publications, served as a consultant to the United States Navy, and wrote film scenarios. In 1996, Lee passed away at age eighty-two.
