Ali-Mazrui (1929–2001) was a Kenyan writer and poet. He is most well-known for his book, The Lonely Voice: A Personal Anthology (1966), which is a collection of his poems. Ali-Mazrui’s poems were published in several literary magazines and anthologies, such as Journey, Horizon, Horizon Africa, and African Literature Today.
