You don't have to wait until something or someone is gone to appreciate the true value

About This Quote

These words are very hard for me to hear. You don't have to wait until something or someone is gone to appreciate the true value of them. I have been in a relationship for a year and a half, and yet he has no idea what my true value is. I think it's so easy to wait until something or someone is gone before you appreciate them.

You see, I have been waiting for him to show his true value. He has been going through a lot lately, and I have been trying to help him through it all with him being so closed off. There were many times where he would ignore me and not talk to me, but that was just because he was busy getting his life back on track.

But I still needed him in my life because I love him dearly. But he still has no idea of the true value of me when he thinks no one will ever replace me in his life.
