Win Butler (born Winston Kingman Weir in Kingston, Ontario) is the lead singer, guitarist, and primary songwriter of the Canadian indie rock band Arcade Fire. After recording two EPs as The Wilderness Game, Butler formed Arcade Fire with fellow Kingstonian Will Butler (no relation), who was at the time employed as a record store clerk at Music Metropolis/Sonic Boom Records, on March 26, 2002.
