In 1919, following a fire that destroyed most of the company's manufacturing facilities in New York City, the company relocated to Los Angeles. In 1932, William Logan Jr., who served as president of the company from 1919 until his death in 1929, assumed control of the company following his father's death. Under his leadership the company moved into a large new factory complex in Hollywood, California.
