Dr. Sushrut Badhe is a full-time faculty in the Department of Psychology at Aurobindo University, an autonomous educational institution in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. He has served as Dean of the Evening College, Dean of the Post Graduate Evening College, and Head of the Department of Psychology since January 2007. Prior to joining Aurobindo University he was with the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune, where he held various administrative positions including Principal (2006-2007), Head of the Department of Humanities (2002-2006), Director (2000-2002), and Dean (1999-2001). He has also worked at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB).

Badhe is a fellow of the Indian Psychological Society, an associate member of the Indian Academy of Sciences, a research associate with the Indian National Science Academy, and an honorary member of the International Academy for Empirical Aesthetics. He is also on editorial boards of various journals in his areas of specialization including Empirical Aesthetics: An International Journal, Empirical Aesthetics: An International Journal Supplement Series, Journal for General Philosophy of Science, Empirical Aesthetics: An International Journal Supplement Series, Empirical Aesthetics: An International Journal Supplement Series on "Theory postulates and philosophical issues", and others. Badhe is also a reviewer for many international journals including Journal for General Philosophy of Science and Empirical Aesthetics: An International Journal Supplement Series.
He received his bachelors (Honours) in science from Presidency College and masters and doctorate degrees from IISc Bangalore in physics and mathematics respectively.
