Rose Franken is a writer and editor who grew up in Connecticut and graduated from New York University. In the last decade she has written for national publications such as National Public Radio, The New York Times, Time Out New York, Chicago Tribune, New Yorker, and "The Best of Everything," where she is a Contributing Editor. She has written a number of books including "The Girl Who Was Saturday Night," a memoir about her life with bipolar disorder and "Lilly," a children's book about an imaginary friend.
