Her stories have been published in magazines and anthologies worldwide, and have won awards from the American Fiction Writer's Association and the New York City Center for Fiction. She is a contributor to The Huffington Post and a former editor of both The Denver Post and the Denver Quarterly
Born in New York, raised in Denver, and currently residing in Los Angeles, she is a proud graduate of the Clarion West Writers Workshop.
