Peter Lindbergh is an independent writer and photographer. His first book, "Half-Hidden: A Portrait of American Childhood," was published in March 2010. His second book, "The Next 100 Years: A Photographic History of Our World," was released in 2011 and won two gold medals at the International Photography Awards. Lindbergh has taught photography and writing at universities and institutions, including Columbia University and New York University, and he is a contributing editor for National Geographic Traveler
He writes about photography and the outdoors for Men's Journal, Outside, and GQ.
