Naveen Andrews is an English actor, best known for his role as Sayid Jarrah in the television series Lost. He graduated with a degree in law from Cambridge University. In the early 1990s, Andrews spent much of his time involved in charity work, working with disadvantaged children in East Africa. In 2000, he co-founded the organization Child Survival through Education (CSED), a charity seeking to establish free primary education throughout Kenya
