Mira Midha is a columnist and freelance writer. She is the author of the memoir, The Light in Her Eyes: My Life in a Harem (HarperCollins India). The book was short-listed for the 2016 International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award and longlisted for the 2016 Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis. She has also published two books of poetry: 'A Few Good Men' and 'That Morning Sun'
Her debut novel, 'The Black Rose', has been nominated for the 2017 Man Asian Literary Prize.
