Mike Figgis is a British director, best known for the films Time Code, The Musketeer and Timecrimes. He has also directed several award winning documentaries. In 1996 he shared the Palme d'Or at Cannes for his film Timecode. In 2005, Figgis directed The Last King of Scotland, which won the Academy Award for Best Picture
In 2007 he directed the film Never Let Me Go starring Carey Mulligan and is currently developing a remake of The Man Who Knew Infinity starring Dev Patel and Benedict Cumberbatch.
