Martin Millar was born in Scotland but has lived in Australia since the age of four. He was introduced to theatre at an early age by his father, who was a member of the famous musical comedy company, Jigsaw. Martin's first theatrical role was as 'The Man' in "Romeo & Juliet" for the Stonnington Theatre Company. Martin has appeared in over 200 stage performances ranging from classic plays to pantomime and has toured nationally with productions of 'The Pirates Of Penzance', 'Singin' In The Rain', 'Cabaret', 'The Rocky Horror Show' and 'The Odd Couple'.

He has also worked as an actor, writer, director and producer on multiple film projects, including two award-winning short films, "A Woman's Touch" (screening at various film festivals around the world) and "Shine Like The Sun" (a film based on the true story of Australian singer Tina Arena). Martin is currently writing his first feature-length script for a major Hollywood studio. He lives with his wife and two children in Melbourne.
