A retired U.S. Army Major from the local area, Mark Maish studied the psychology behind behavioral health and performance under a former Special Forces officer. Based on this experience, he wrote a book about leadership and motivation - "Leadership and Motivation in Sports," which was published in 1994. For over a decade, Maish has been working with leaders of all types in a variety of organizations, including Fortune 500 companies, professional sports franchises, non-profit organizations and small business owners
Maish also founded "The Motivation Minute," a short podcast broadcast weekly on iTunes entitled "Why We Do What We Do."
