Kate McCafferty is a London-based writer of non-fiction. She has written for a variety of publications, including the Guardian, the Independent, the New Statesman and The Times. Her first book of non-fiction, The Last Time I Tried to Quit, was published by Yellow Jersey Press in 2014. Her second book, A Small Affair: A Memoir, was published by Bloomsbury in October 2017.
