As governor he reformed state government, created new jobs, increased incomes for farmers, increased school funding, helped save the Evergreen State College, protected Puget Sound's salmon populations, supported alternative energy research, increased access to health care for all citizens, streamlined government, and protected the environment while increasing revenues by more than $1 billion.
