Israel M. Kirzner is a professor of economics at New York University and an authority on Austrian economics. His research has been published in The Journal of Economic Theory, the Review of Austrian Economics, the Journal of Institutional and Theoretical Economics, and a number of professional journals. He is also the editor of the Review of Austrian Economics and was a member of the editorial board for The Collectivist Economic Systems in History: Essays in Honor of Joseph Schumpeter
In addition to his academic writings, Dr. Kirzner is the author or coauthor of over 50 professional papers in economics, including several papers in which he presents systematic, formal models for analyzing price controls.
