Hannelie Venucia is a Singapore-based author who has penned the romantic comedy novels, The Blushing Bride and Wildflower Brides (the first in her "best-selling trilogy"), as well as various other works. She was born in Indonesia but spent most of her childhood in Malaysia. After completing her secondary education, Hannelie attended the University of New South Wales to study law before she decided to pursue a career in writing. It was during this time that she began penning her first novel, The Wildflower Bride
The Blushing Bride was published soon after its completion and went on to become an international bestseller. Wildflower Brides followed shortly after, with both series receiving critical acclaim and awards. Besides writing novels, Hannelie also has a long-standing career as a novelist and screenwriter.
