A four-time Super Bowl champion with the New York Giants, Gifford is widely regarded as one of the greatest wide receivers in NFL history. In addition to his four Super Bowl championships, Gifford was a six-time Pro Bowler and three-time First-team All-Pro selection. He led the Giants to their first Super Bowl win in Super Bowl XXI, and he is enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Following his playing career, Gifford spent 18 years as a commentator on ESPN's SportsCenter and ABC's Monday Night Football, before retiring from the broadcast booth after the 2011 season.
