Claudio Ranieri is a football manager, who has managed several football teams, including Spanish club Valencia. He won the Premier League with Leicester City in the 2015–16 season, and led them to the 2016 UEFA Champions League Final. He was named Manager of the Year by both the Professional Footballers Association and Football Writers' Association of England respectively. He managed Monaco from 2011 to 2014, guiding them to three consecutive league titles before being sacked
After his spell at Monaco, Ranieri moved to the Premier League with Leicester City in 2015. During his first season he took them to the top of the table, eventually finishing as runners-up. Before that, he had managed Italian side Roma for five years (2001-2005) where he won two Serie A titles and one Coppa Italia, as well as playing in two Champions League finals; he also led Parma to their first league title since 1965. As a player, he won four Serie A titles with Roma (2000–02) and Parma (2000–01).
