Chad White is an American journalist, screenwriter, and author. He is the author of the best-selling novel "The Last Song of Alexander Hamilton" which became a Broadway musical in 2014, and he also wrote the children's book "A Killer Among Us". A former staff writer for "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart", White has written for The New York Times Magazine, GQ, Men's Journal, Rolling Stone, The New Yorker, Playboy magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and more. He currently hosts his own podcast called "ChadCast".

When he was 12 years old, his family moved to Phoenix where he attended Arcadia High School. After high school, he attended Arizona State University where he earned a bachelor's degree in journalism. He worked as a reporter for the Associated Press and then as a writer/columnist for "GQ" magazine.
After moving to Los Angeles in 2005 to pursue his dream of becoming a screenwriter/novelist/journalist/entrepreneur, White began working on projects including producing and directing movies for studios like Universal Home Entertainment.
