Born in London, Ben Kingsley was educated at Stowe School, University College, Oxford, the Central School of Speech and Drama, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He began his career on stage at age ten. He has starred in many movies including Gandhi, Schindler's List, Sexy Beast, Harry Potter, The Amazing Spider-Man, Hugo, Cold Mountain, Iron Man 1 & 2, Ghandi among others. His career has earned him numerous awards including an Oscar for Best Actor for his performance in "Gandhi".
