In 2016, the WWE universe learned Becky Lynch's birth name was Rebecca Quin, but her friends and family called her Becky. Growing up in Liverpool, England, Becky was a talented gymnast and a competitive soccer player. After a knee injury ended her soccer career, she turned to gymnastics for a fresh start. Over the next few years, Becky went on to win five more international medals and became a staple of Great Britain’s national team.
When she wasn't competing in gymnastics, Becky worked as an aerobics instructor and researched diet and nutrition. She graduated from Liverpool University with a degree in sports therapy and nutrition. After leaving the WWE in 2011, she went on to complete seven more courses and hold numerous positions within the wellness industry.
Today, she runs an online blog and coaches people in her spare time. She is also working on her first book “Cooking with Becky: Easy Recipes for Real Women” due out April 22nd 2018.
