About This Quote

In the early days of the early Christian church, some converted Jews had been speaking to the populace about Jesus Christ. They were telling them that Jesus was a god and that they needed to worship him. Some of these Jews were zealots who believed that they could convert everyone to Christianity through a sword or a gun. Whenever they found someone who didn’t believe in Jesus, they would kill them.

When this happened, the Christians would go to those killed and say, “This man is dead because he won’t worship Jesus as your god. He is dead because he doesn’t believe in Jesus as your god!”
