The idea of Jeremy Corbyn as Gandalf is, well, very funny. But, the comparison of the two is also quite apt. Gandalf was a powerful wizard and leader of the resistance. He was brave and smart and ultimately became a legend.
He saved Middle Earth from Sauron. Corbyn would almost certainly be leader of the opposition if he won the Labour leadership election in 2020. And, like Gandalf, he has already proven to be an able and inspirational campaigner.
