About This Quote

The reason why I always had pain at the center of my life is because I was born with a disability. Unlike most people who are born healthy, I was born with a disability. My disability is called Spina Bifida, which means that my spinal cord was not fully developed. There were two surgeries that were required to repair my spinal cord.

The first surgery involved removing the tissue that was damaged during the first surgery and then closing it with stitches. The second surgery was to repair any damage that had occurred between the first surgery and the birth of my son.
