Did I know that the reason Hitler had been able to slaughter six million Jews without too much complaint from the world was that for two thousand years the world had been taught that Jews, not Romans, had killed that man?

About This Quote

In 1933, Adolf Hitler rose to power in Germany. In his first year as Chancellor of Germany, he began a campaign against the Jews. By 1939, six million of them had been killed. In 1945, the Americans dropped two atomic bombs on Japan, killing at least 200,000 of their citizens.

By that time, the Germans had been defeated and Hitler had committed suicide. But throughout this period, the world was led to believe that it had been the Jews who killed Hitler and had more or less invented the Holocaust.
