Happiness is the most dangerous of emotions because it makes us want to stay in that happy state. When we are happy, we do not see the bad things around us and so we do not recognize them. When we feel happiness, we do not realize the harm that this emotion has on our lives. Happiness can be a trap.

We try to keep our happiness by staying in a world with only good things and never acknowledging the bad things. The more good things there are in our lives, the harder it is to recognize those bad things. It's as if we have forgotten about those negative emotions because they have been buried beneath all of those positive ones.
