About This Quote

There are some people who believe that technology is the answer to all of the world’s problems. It is supposed to solve all of our issues, but most of the time it has helped make them worse. Technology gives us more power, but it also gives us more problems. While technology can empower us, it can also enslave us.

For example, with technology comes the internet. The internet has allowed people to share their thoughts, feelings and opinions with others around the world with no boundaries. This has led to a rise in “trolls” or cyber bullies who make hateful comments about people on the internet in an attempt to provoke negative emotions.

Another problem with technology is that many people are addicted to it. People spend more time using technology than actually engaging in real life activities. Technology has also led to a rise in cyber-bullying because people are able to carry out their attacks without ever being connected to each other directly.

Hubris is another problem that comes from technology. People are too quick to assume that they are smarter than everyone else because of what they have learned in school or through technology. This leads them to think that they know better than anyone else and try to impose their views on others without taking into consideration other views.
