The sea loved the moon When she was supposed to love the shore. The moon knew And hence made his intentions known. That she should love the shore Who was destined for her. Yet his protests seemed weak. And even when he pushed her towards the shore- She always retreated back. To want, to need, to love the moon For all she's worth. Everyone said, it wasn't meant to happen. Yet, the Tsunami rose that night for their union. Saiber
About This Quote

In this poem, the sea is trying to tell the moon that her love for him is wrong. The moon, however, seems to not listen to the sea or anyone for that matter. The moon feels as though she is destined to be with the shore even though she is meant to be with the sea. The sea, on the other hand, wants her to love him and ends up pushing her into his arms.

When she does end up there, the moon always retreats back. She doesn't want to be with him but no one can say why. Everyone says it's impossible but people don't understand how powerful love is until they experience it.
