About This Quote

This is a heartwarming scene from the anime, Yotsuba&!, in which the title character tries to save her brother from a group of violent thugs. Her brother is lying face down on the ground, and his attackers are about to finish him off with a devastating attack. But Yotsuba shows up and grabs his head and yells for her brother to get up. The thug’s boss asks if she’s trying to take over the job, and she says the only one who can do it is her brother.

She tells her brother he can get up, and when he does Yotsuba starts punching out the boss and his men. She then runs away with her brother, and we never see them again. It’s an inspiring story of overcoming obstacles to protect others and doing what you can to help others when they need you most.
