There is no job more important than parenting. This I believe.

Benjamin Carson
About This Quote

When I was young, my father used to tell me that there is no job more important than parenting. He would also say that the greatest of all evils is to let anyone else raise your children. He would further say that parents should be the ones to teach their children what is right and wrong. He had strong convictions about this and always stressed the importance of doing everything in your power to raise your kids correctly.

While I think he was right, I never stopped to think on what he said about the greatest of all evils. It is easy to think on things like this while you are growing up, but it’s not until you have children of your own that you really start thinking on how important parenthood truly is. You realize that there are some things that simply can never be replaced by anything else in the world.
