This statement by George Orwell is an interesting insight into the government of a country. Orwell suggests that only those that know the language of law and economics can understand what is happening in such a way that will help the nation. It is true that if care is taken to use only a language that it’s understood by graduates in law and economics, you can easily prove that the masses have to be managed from above. If this is the case then why do we not see more of these people in politics? Have we chosen to only allow the elites to represent us?
