The problem with fake news and propaganda is that we tend to believe everything we read without checking its veracity. This is dangerous because we can lose our sense of reality and become dulled to the injustices that are all around us. In the beginning of the 20th century, people were bombarded by newspapers with inflammatory headlines that encouraged them to become involved in political causes that were popular at that time.
