When I was a child, I believed that those stars were knights in silver armor protecting the universe against darkness.

About This Quote

When I was a child, I believed that those stars were knights in silver armor protecting the universe against darkness. While this is an appropriate quote for children to believe in, it’s not so appropriate for adults. We are more sophisticated than that. We know that there is no knight in shining armor protecting us from danger.

But, we do still have the ability to protect ourselves through the power of our own belief systems. We can protect ourselves by believing in things that offer strength and protection.
