People wonder why I always dress professionally. I want to be admired for my intelligence, instead of my body.

About This Quote

In my opinion it’s because being smart is a great asset and being beautiful is a great asset. I just don’t want to have to choose between the two. I want to be admired for my intelligence, instead of my body. At this point in my life I am a college graduate with a degree in psychology, which means that I am more intelligent than most of the people who are around me. But, I still wear professional clothes because I am still too young to completely appreciate what intelligence is and what beauty is, and therefore I do not want to ever value either one over the other.
