Yogesh was born in Delhi and lived there till he was 2 years old. He was brought up in Agra where he completed his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya. His family then moved to Lucknow where he completed his graduation in Commerce from CMNR University.
After that, he worked with an Indian Bank for 4 years as the Assistant Manager before moving to Mumbai where he got employed as an IT Professional with Wipro Technologies. He has worked with Wipro Technologies for six years before he became freelance writer and blogger.
