Wynand de Beer is the author of two novels, The Book That Changed My Life and The Spirit of the Fridge , as well as one short story collection, Under No Flag . His work has appeared in the anthologies The Best of Noir and The Best of Contemporary African Writing. Born in South Africa in 1973, he lives in Cape Town with his wife and daughter.
