Uchenna Durugo is the author of the critically acclaimed and best-selling novel The Orphan Master's Son, and two short story collections: The Little Red Chairs and Other Stories and The Gusts of Wind. His stories have been published in venues such as "The New Yorker," "Harper's," "The Paris Review," and "The Oxford American" among others, and his work has been anthologized in "Best American Short Stories" and "Best American Mystery Stories." He holds a master's degree from Columbia University in creative writing. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and son.
