Troye Sivan is an Australian singer-songwriter, actor, and pop-culture icon. He was born in South Africa in 1998, where he grew up in a family of musicians. He attended the Australian National Institute of Dramatic Art (ANIDA) in 2010, where he studied acting. His second studio album Bloom (2016) debuted at number one on the ARIA Albums Chart and was certified Platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA), selling more than 70,000 copies in its first week. Troye Sivan became the first Australian act to have three albums hit number one on the ARIA Charts.
His third album Wild (2018) debuted atop both the ARIA Albums Chart and iTunes Albums Chart during its first week of release. Troye Sivan is also known for writing songs for other artists such as Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" (2014), Britney Spears' "Pretty Girls" (2015), Ariana Grande's "Into You" (2016), Camila Cabello's "Havana" (2017) and Camila Cabello's "Never Be The Same" (2018).
