Timothy Olyphant is the author of four novels, including the national bestsellers Deadwood and The Dead Zone, and a memoir, Fine Time. He attended Yale University and received a law degree from the University of Virginia. His acting career began in 1979 in a production of Macbeth. Since then he has appeared in numerous films including Breaking Away, Steel Magnolias, The Big Lebowski, and The Matrix Reloaded.
