Tim Lucas is a poet, author, essayist, editor, and musician. He is the author of the novel "Trouble with Angels" (winner of the 2004 Scotiabank Giller Prize), two collections of poems, "The Journey of the Swan," and "Familiar Strangers," both published by Coach House Books in Toronto. He taught for several years in the University of Toronto's creative writing program before becoming a full-time freelance writer. He has worked as an editor in various publishing houses in Toronto and New York City
