The Silver Elves are an American rock band. The band was formed in 1994 by John Palumbo (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Tony Rettino (lead guitar), Dennis Diken (rhythm guitar), and Michael "Duke" DeNardo (drums). They are best known for their single "I Believe", which reached number one on the US Billboard charts in 1996, the second single from their debut album, "Changing Times".
