Tanja Taaljard is a self-taught artist. She was inspired by her surroundings to become an artist, but her initial goal was to become a photographer. Her curiosity for the world led her to study Fine Art at Groningen Academy of Arts in The Netherlands, where she graduated with honors. She now uses her art as a tool to share the beauty of the world through photographs and paintings
Tanja has been traveling the world since 2010, exploring different cultures and documenting her journey along the way. Tanja currently lives in New York City with her husband and two children.
