Suzan Tamaro is a writer, editor, and professor of creative writing who has published over 80 books for both adults and children. Her first book, Finishing School , won the National Book Award. She is the author of the young adult novels The Poets' Wives (a Newbery Honor book), Us Girls (an ALA Notable Book), and The Memory Keeper's Daughter (a Newbery Honor Book) as well as two middle grade novels.
